Our Faculty
Sathyendra Kumar A. D. is a Faculty Member at the School of Entrepreneurship and Extension, National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme), Hyderabad, since May 2026. His work focuses on enterprise development in the MSME sector through training program design, research, consultancy, and institutional collaborations. His areas of expertise include agribusiness management, value chain analysis, marketing management, and risk management. He has been actively involved in designing and delivering capacity-building programs for entrepreneurs, FPOs, and government stakeholders.
Prior to this, he served as an Associate Faculty Member at ni-msme from November 2024 to April 2026. He also worked as a Senior Business Development Manager at a-iDEA, Technology Business Incubation Center (TBI) of ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad, from July 2022 to November 2024. At a-iDEA, he conceptualized and implemented India’s first Agribusiness Management Development Program for prospective FPO CEOs, achieving 100% placement across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra. He also led the launch of the FPO Accelerator Program to support high-potential producer organizations. He has mentored over 106 FPOs under NABARD-supported projects, focusing on business planning, project development, and market linkages, and has supported agri-startups through mentorship and market facilitation.
Earlier, he worked as an Agribusiness Expert for the World Bank-supported Andhra Pradesh Integrated Irrigation and Agriculture Transformation Project (APII&AT) at MANAGE, Hyderabad, from January 2021 to May 2022. He also served as an Assistant Professor at CCS National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM), Jaipur, from August 2017 to January 2021, where he led research projects on e-NAM performance and conducted training programs for agriculture officers, FPOs, and marketing boards. He began his academic career as a Faculty Member (Guest Faculty) at the University of Mysore from August 2015 to August 2017.
He holds a Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management from the University of Mysore and has authored more than 10 research publications in national and international journals. He has also contributed to academic administration as a Batch Coordinator for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agribusiness Management) at CCS NIAM. His work has contributed to strengthening FPO ecosystems, improving market linkages, and promoting sustainable agribusiness and rural enterprise development in India.
