About School

The School of Entrepreneurship and Extension has evolved into a dynamic hub for capacity building, policy outreach, and grassroots entrepreneurship promotion aligned with contemporary MSME priorities. The School has been actively engaged in designing and delivering practice-oriented, multi-disciplinary training programmes covering MSME policy implementation, business development strategies, marketing, project planning, and entrepreneurship, often integrating to innovation ecosystems. In addition, SEE has played a significant role in entrepreneurship awareness, outreach programmes, and institutional collaborations, including partnerships with state agencies and financial institutions to strengthen MSME ecosystems and promote inclusive growth, particularly among youth, women, SHGs, and marginalized communities. The School’s interventions increasingly emphasize entrepreneurship development and local enterprise creation, with training batches being conducted across districts to generate both wage employment and micro-enterprises. Further, SEE contributes to national and international knowledge dissemination through expert lectures, conferences, and consultancy engagements, addressing emerging areas such as innovation diffusion, technology transfer, and sustainable enterprise development. Its programmes are characterized by interactive pedagogy, case-based learning, field engagement, ensuring practical outcomes and enhanced institutional capacities. Overall, SEE continues to align its activities with the vision of “Viksit Bharat” by fostering entrepreneurial competencies, strengthening governance capacities, and enabling inclusive and sustainable MSME growth.
