Dr. Shreekant Sharma holds a Ph.D. in Agri Business Management, with over 18 years of professional experience as Director, Faculty Member, Researcher, and Corporate Executive, Dr. Sharma has built a distinguished career in MSME promotion and institutional development. As Director, SEE, he has led major academic and administrative functions, supervised multidisciplinary teams, and successfully implemented national and international capacity-building programmes. During his tenure in ni-msme from 2016, he has actively contributed to the Udyam Alok Project, strengthening institutional systems and outreach. Conceptualized and conducted 773 National and 20 International Training Programmes, benefiting 42,586 participants and generating significant revenue for enhancing institutional financial sustainability. He has undergone several national and international training programmes to strengthen strategic leadership and governance capabilities. He has visited Surabaya, Indonesia for training on MSME development, wherein he was awarded as best participant. His academic contributions include 18 international publications, 39 national publications, 8 books/reports, and 5 book chapters. He has received two Best Research Paper Awards and served as Editor of the SEDME Journal, contributing to the advancement of research and scholarly standards in entrepreneurship and MSME development. Dr. Sharma was instrumental in securing the ILO “We Check” institutional certification. His collaborative initiatives include MoUs and projects with Union Ministries, State Governments, PSUs, industry associations, and international organizations.
