National conference on Digital Enabled Factories with industry 5.0

25 - 26 March 2026
09:00 - 05:00
ni-msme Campus
500

Industry 5.0, also known as the Fifth Industrial Revolution, builds upon digital transformation by placing human creativity and intelligence at the core of advanced manufacturing. It integrates cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, collaborative robots (cobots), and resilient digital ecosystems to create human-centric factories where people and machines work in synergy. This paradigm emphasizes sustainability, mass customization, ethical value chains, and circular economies, supported by real-time data that enables informed, human-guided decision-making for eco-friendly production and resilient supply networks. Through human–AI collaboration, cobotics, sustainable analytics, and adaptive automation, Industry 5.0 is reshaping manufacturing practices. It offers Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) powerful opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and global competitiveness while simultaneously promoting environmental responsibility and workforce well-being. Understanding these concepts is essential for enterprises seeking to transition toward value-driven, resilient, and future-ready manufacturing ecosystems. Recognizing the growing relevance of Industry 5.0, this two-day workshop is designed to demystify its core principles and provide practical, actionable pathways for adoption. The program will equip MSME owners, managers, and technical professionals with insights into human–cobot integration, sustainable data analytics, and resilient manufacturing systems, enabling them to align technology with purpose-led business strategies. In this context, the National Institute for MSME, drawing on over six decades of experience in enterprise development, proposes to organize a two-day conference on Industry 5.0. Participation in this learning initiative is strongly recommended for professionals seeking to upskill in emerging digital technologies, bridge future skill gaps, enhance decision-making and productivity, and unlock new opportunities for innovation and career growth in smart, human-centered manufacturing environments.
