A One Day Workshop on Youth Empowerment through AI and Digital Skills in Collaboration with Rashtrapati Nilayam
The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme), under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, in collaboration with Rashtrapati Nilayam, successfully celebrated World Youth Skills Day 2025 at the Rashtrapati Nilayam, Bolarum on 15th July 2025.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. K. Rajani Priya, Estate Manager, Rashtrapati Nilayam, who emphasized the critical role of skill development in shaping a self-reliant and future-ready India. This year’s theme, “Youth Empowerment Through AI and Digital Skills,” focused on fostering technological and entrepreneurial capabilities among young citizens.
The programme witnessed an overwhelming response, with a total of 1,595 registrations from students, faculty, startups, and stakeholders across institutions. The event featured expert-led seminars, live demonstrations, and a vibrant student model exhibition on AI and Robotics, showcasing innovation, creativity, and real-world applications of digital technologies.
The event was graced by Shri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana, who delivered the keynote address highlighting the transformative role of youth in India’s digital future. Other dignitaries included Shri Bhagat Singh, ADG, CPWD, and Shri K. Srinivasa Rao, Regional Director, NSTI Hyderabad.
From ni-msme, Dr. Eranti Vijaya, Director, School of Enterprise Management, addressed the gathering and reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to entrepreneurship and MSME development. Dr. Manisha Kumari, Associate Faculty Member, ni-msme, delivered an impactful session on Government Incentives and Institutional Support for Entrepreneurs, outlining the various schemes and support mechanisms available to youth and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the student exhibition and a resounding message on the importance of youth-led innovation in driving the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 through inclusive and sustainable development.
