Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
ni-msme signed an MoU with AP SERP in the presence of Hon’ble CM Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu for the Holistic Development of the Guntur Pickles & Chilli By-Product Cluster
ni-msme has signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, for the Holistic Development of the Guntur Pickles & Chilli By-Product Cluster.
Under this initiative, ni-msme will serve as the Technical Support Agency (TSA) to strengthen the cluster ecosystem and promote value addition in chilli and pickle processing.
Shri K. Surya Prakash Goud, Director – SED, ni-msme, exchanged the MoU with Smt. Karuna Vakati, IAS, CEO & Secretary, SERP, on behalf of ni-msme.
Through this collaboration, ni-msme will implement cluster-based interventions aimed at improving productivity, product quality, and market competitiveness. Key interventions include:
Establishment of solar dryers for efficient processing, Sorting, grading machinery and technologies to improve quality standards
Capacity building and enterprise development support for farmers and Self Help Groups (SHGs)
These interventions are expected to enhance income opportunities for farmers, SHGs, and rural entrepreneurs, while strengthening the value chain of the Guntur chilli and pickle sector in Andhra Pradesh.
